Weekend Roundup and Happy Blogaversary (to me!)

My weekend was absolutely amazing.

Did I go somewhere special??

...no.

Did I do anything spectacular?

...no.

Did I win lots and lots of money?

...nope.

Did some magic fairy come and shed twenty pounds off of my rear end?

...nope

but Jillian Michaels made an appearance and is giving it her best shot

The real reason, you ask...Rich started a new job and now has the weekends off. YIPEE He has never had a Sunday off in over a year and he has only had a handful of Saturdays off. My kids were also with me this entire weekend. This is what my great weekend consisted of:

• Family Dinner Friday night...together


• Saturday morning 30 Day Shred...together


• Grocery shopping...together.


• Rearranging the bedroom...together.


• Hanging pictures...together.


• Trying out a new recipe...together.


• Family UNO...together.


• Sunday morning walk with Maggie...together


• Cleaning the house...together

I know that you are gagging with all the togetherness, but I am enjoying it and have not had that for awhile now...so just bear with me, I'll get over it.

but probably not.

It was truly wonderful to have my kids and Rich with me all weekend. And to have help with everything I usually do on the weekend was priceless. Plus we all have Monday off too!!

Now on to my Blogaversary!!!

One year ago I made my first blog entry. I had been reading Kelly's Korner praying for little Harper and decided that I might like to do this too.

not the traumatic sick child thing...but the blog thing...just so we are clear Plus little Harper just celebrated her first birthday!!!

I had been hanging on for dear life in my own life and hoped that with my sense of humor others, and myself, might choose to take their troubles a little less seriously and at the very least laugh a little. I have really enjoyed this journey and enjoyed meeting other bloggers along the way.
